Since 1 April this year, Hendrickx Transport has had the use of 6 multi-chassis vehicles which can haul containers. It was a conscious decision to choose multi-chassis vehicles in order to remain multifunctional when it comes to the haulage of the diversity of containers used nowadays. We are thinking, in particular, of the standard 20 ft, 40 ft and 45 ft containers but also about Flatracks, Open Top and Curtainside Containers which can also be moved with the multi-chassis. Hendrickx is anticipating an increase in market demand for the haulage of containers, coupled with the respective loading, storage and order-processing, all of which we are able to offer within our own organisation as well as offering an “all-in” package. Transportation using containers is still increasing due to the fact that a container, in itself, is multi-functional. Not only can it be transported over the roads, but also on the railways and across water. The increasing demand on the roads network is also increasing the growth of container transportation.

As a result of this set-up, there is a win/win situation from which all affected
parties can benefit.
As independent enterprises, it is in the drivers’ interests, as well as those of
HTC, to work as efficiently as possible. It is clear that both parties are
dedicated to “transport” as a product, where a trustworthy and correct manner of
delivery can be very beneficial.
AS A RESULT.
Because more and more companies use our services to carry out a job, the
geographical spread of collection and delivery addresses is also becoming
gradually larger and requires both national and international, well thought-out
logistical planning.
